Stadium one step closer

North East Lincolnshire’s cabinet will meet this afternoon to discuss the way forward for plans for a new Grimsby Town stadium off Peaks Parkway.

Members will receive an update on the work that has been undertaken so far, and the recommendation is to approves the issuing of a new Exclusivity Agreement to Grimsby Town Football Club Limited for 12 months, which would allow the further time for continued exploration of the commercial viability of the outline proposals, and informal discussions between the council and GTFC.
